CP's and NAP's - What does what? Empty CP's and NAP's - What does what?

This is something that has baffled many a player in Travian. Is there a difference between these two pacts and if so what are they?

Well they are both completely different and one is especially important to remember. Lets start with the CP.

CP, or Confederation Pact, means a relationship between two alliances in which they have both vowed not to attack one another. Essentially, it is an allegiance closest to becoming an actual wing of an alliance.

An NAP, or Non Aggression Pact, is different from a CP in the sense that having a NAP is really just like a verbal agreement such as " We wont attack you if you dont attack us " but its more transparent than that lol. Really to me, it means we wont go nuts and attack you but we could raid now and again on your members that are on our doorstep and are not very active - but it is not recommended. Every now and again you will see a cheeky raid from an alliance member from those in our NAP listing.

Okay so lets discuss how CP's and NAP's are applied within an alliance. Well for CP's it only takes one wing from two alliances to hold a CP for it to be spread to each and every wing in turn. So alliance alpha has 8 wings alpha1, aplha2 and so on and another alliance called Omega has 6 wings: omega1, omega2 and so forth. alpha5 and omega6 have a CP in play but alpha2 and omega2 have raided each other constantly. Because both these wings have raided one another while another of their wings have a CP with the other, they are in violation of the travian rules and have abused the friendly fire rules. This is punishable by a multihunter on the server. The multihunter has the power to ban a member for a week or longer, to remove all troops in a village, remove resource fields down to level 1 and and empty warehouses and granaries as punishment.

With an NAP, it does not extend beyond the wings they are held with. So alpha1 and omega1 can have an NAP but both wings could raid each others wings including the one they hold the NAP with but as I said before - this is not really welcomed and I advise you NOT to do this. After all, NAP's are just as difficult to attain as CP's are and all that hard work could be in vain if you do a cheeky raid which normally results in a leader getting an eyeful of IGM's demanding answers and threats to drop NAP's etc. We dont want this guys.

Play by these rules then you will be fine :-)
DiD will endeavour to keep our list of NAP's and CP's short and sweet but please click on our CP's and see if they have wings and take note of them.
